About Me

Join the Compassion Blogger Network
Radical. Crazy. Liberal. Hippie.
Those are just a few adjectives people have used to describe me. But I'm not any of those things. I'm Sarah Marshall and I'm a Red Letter Christian (RLC). You know those passages in the Bible that are written in red? That's the most important text because Jesus said those words.

There are over 2,000 verses in the Bible that talk about caring for the poor, but yet many Christians in today's society are too comfortable to love on the poor. If Jesus cared so much about the poor and oppressed, why don't Christians who claim to be followers of Christ care more about the people Jesus loves so much?

My goal is to live a 25:40 life every day. Matthew 25:40 is one of those red letter verses that reads:

"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'"

This is my life verse, which is how I created the title of this blog. The purpose of this blog is to write about the things I'm most passionate about.

Haiti

Homeless people

Poor and oppressed women

Orphans

I love these people that are otherwise known as "the least of these." I hope you enjoy my writings. My prayer is that the Lord's compassion for the least of these would fill your heart as He has filled mine.
